We have noticed that the majority of support calls (30 / 40) received daily between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM are related to CBS login and biometric authentication issues. Upon investigation, we have found that these problems are primarily caused by improper shutdown practices at the branch level, including:
· Turning off the PC directly without shutting down properly.
· Not closing all tabs in Internet Explorer before logging off.
These actions lead to recurring issues, disrupting the smooth functioning of CBS and requiring additional support to resolve.
To minimize these issues, we kindly request all branches to strictly adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP):
1. Ensure Proper Shutdown:
Before turning off the PC, all active programs and applications must be closed, particularly Internet Explorer.
Use the standard operating system shutdown process instead of directly powering off the system.
2. Logout Properly from CBS:
Ensure that all sessions are logged out of CBS before shutting down the machine.
Close all CBS-related tabs in Internet Explorer before exiting.
By following these simple steps, we can reduce the number of login and biometric issues significantly and improve operational efficiency.
